Game of Dice
The Kauravas were constantly looking for some way or the other to get rid of the Pandavas. A direct conflict was not supported by the elders.  Duryodhan approached his uncle shakuni to come up with some plan.
Shakuni was very well known for being a talented dice player " Shatranj ".  Duryodhan sought permission to invite the Pandavas for a Game of Dice. Now Yudhishtir had a weakness for playing shatranj, and he also did not want to offend Duryodhan. So the pandavas accept the challenge and come to play dice with Shakuni.  Shakuni keeps winning every throw and Yudhishtir kept wagering and losing first  his army, his wealth, his crown, his brothers pretty much everything he had.  Dusshasan taunts him to wager Draupadi which he does. Draupadi gets insulted in front of the entire court.

At this time evil omens filled the atmosphere , causing unease in the mind of Dhristharashtra. He urges his wile sons to stop and gives draupadi two boons;  Draupadi promptly gets her husbands and her kingdom back.
Yet another game of dice follows -----
