Golden age of the "Gupta" empire

 Today we studied about the gupta dynasty, which is often referred to as the Golden age of India. We touched upon the prominent rulers of the gupta dynasty, Chandragupta II ( vikramaditya) . The government was stable, the rulers were patrons of art, literature, science, astronomy and every other facet.  Mathemeticians and artists were rewarded and recognised for their contributions which lead to art and culture flourishing in the Gupta dynasty.
